I can't think of Steve back in our school days without smiling. He was always "up." His high energy and sense of humor were infectious.  I'm sad to learn of his passing.  If you hear faint laughter, it must be Steve entertaining the other spirits in Heaven.

I was very sad to hear that Steve has passed from this life.  Other than my own family members, Steve was my first friend - we met in Sunday School at West Erwin Church of Christ when we were both about 4 years old.  I remember him as always smiling and laughing.  He was fun to be around and would always put a smile on your face.  We didn't go to the same elementary or jr high schools (other than Sunday School and VBS) and when we both got to JTHS it was really good to have him around each day at school.  I also remember the parties at his family's lake house with fond memories.

His Memorial Service will be at 2 pm SATURDAY, MARCH 12 at the Community Center of West Erwin Church of Christ.  He was baptized into Christ at that church many years ago.
