This section though titled veterans, also salutes those that kept this country under control and prospering while some of us were away.
We didn't have as much support in the 60's as we do now. Nor did we have internet, cell phones or Yahoo! Mail call twice a week if we were lucky. But on the other hand, it meant a lot more than a chat message! I remember most of the guys sniffing the envelopes! The gals did a great job with the Chanel No.5!!! If they would have just sent us their ratting comb and a can of spray-net we would be in heaven! God bless them!!!
I think I am having the same reaction as Jim. The more I type and read the John Tyler emails, the harder it is to see.
